Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished psychologist since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is well-known for starting modern scientific studies of the memory of children as eyewitnesses as well as the role of children victimization in court. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive She has also received a number of grants and is the recipient of numerous awards the national level and international. She has worked with a variety of organisations and governments around the globe on research and policies relating to children who are people who are victims of the law. She is an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations such as that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
